Everyone threw a birthday party for me. It used to not be normal to be surrounded by people and celebrate together with all of them, so I'm very happy that it's something I can expect now. The way that different artists write in their notebooks and the way they choose words while writing lyrics vary so much, and it was really interesting to get a peek into so many different peoples' lives! No matter how digital the world gets, I don't want to ever forget how it feels to write in a notebook with a pen.

The feeling that both teams put into their lyrics were so intense that they practically burned me, and I got so caught up in the music that I almost forgot to breathe. The vibes were totally different from the first round; I was left totally in awe of the way it left me feeling like their sounds were quietly coursing through my entire body. This battle was amazing; I'm going to have to spend the entire night trying to untangle everything it made me feel!!!
