Prison work is halted on New Year's Day, and the meals that the prisoners get are a little higher quality in honor of the holiday. I don't know if it's on account of that, but the inmates were able to spend the day relatively peacefully and without major incident. Thank you for your continued support of GokuLuck this year as well.

There were so many cheering heads of other teams that I'd never seen before-- it gave me goosebumps. The tension between the units, and the unity within those teams, was really what hiphop is all about. It really made me realize all over again that this really is the reason we're doing BoU. It was so awesome, I don't think I'm gonna be able to sleep tonight!
