Battle of Unity MV Bingo Interviews
These are short "interviews" posted for achieving certain MV view count goals for the Battle of Unity MVs! The prompt is that the leaders of each group are to give some backstory or context to the creation of the group's opening show songs.
The Unit R ones (cozmez, Akan Yatsura, VISTY, and AMPRULE) were posted on October 16th, 2024, with Unit A (BAE, The Cat's Whiskers, 1Nm8, GokuLuck) and Buraikan on December 4, 2024.
Kanata: "I made it because I was pissed off. We're going to crush all the other teams."
Iori: "Everyone was real fired up, so we got the song done in no time flat. It felt great to go to a public bathhouse after finishing it up. We all drank up the fruit milk like we were sharin' cups of sake!"
Shogo: "We had a really hard time coming up with a song, and a lot of songs ended up getting scrapped. Right when we were really feeling stuck, we decided to go for a drive to clear our heads, and the sight of the highway at dusk gave us the inspriation we needed!"
Dongha: "I derived my inspiration from a play that I was invited to attend. AMPRULE is about to reach something of a turning point. As such, this song is well suited for the start of a new chapter."
Allen: "While I was working on this song late at night, I accidentally spilled the coffee that Hajun had made for me on my PC, and I was really worried that the data would be gone.
Thankfuly, it seemed to survive the experience, so I was really happy when I turned it back on and everything was fine, haha."
Saimon: "We had a lot of discussions about what kind of song we should create. During a moment of downtime, Shiki casually played a phrase on the piano, and it seemed to have struck a chord with Yohei, so tos peak; and that's where the song began to take shape."
Kei: "I found it very impressive how Rokuta and Itsuki took on this new challenge with even more enthusiasm than usual.
It was very reassuring that they were there to help throughout the whole process, even though I had to work through the night for days on end."
Yuto: "Mikoshiba-kun worked very hard on the track, as he always does. Kaida-kun wanted the guitar line to have a very raw sound, so he wanted a new effect pedal for the guitar, but it was very difficult to get that request approved..."
Haruomi: "The concept came to me while I was in the middle of boring up my bike. I had the image of a desolate straight-shot road, and I had the sense that that had some commonality with the paths that each of the artists are taking."
