Recently, I bought a new coffee grinder. The satisfying weighty feeling of turning the handle and the distinct aroma of freshly-ground beans make for an essential part of my morning routine. A cup of coffee, carefully brewed and made with new equipment, really helps to clear the mind.
Speaking as someone who stands at the front of the classroom, I feel both pride and a touch of melancholy as my students leave the nest. I truly hope that the things I have said and the lessons I have imparted upon them will serve as guideposts on the paths they take in the future. Graduation is not an ending, but rather the prologue to a new story.

"Personal news", hm... like, cotton candy with wasabi mixed in, or a merry-go-round that can only turn to the right? Well, Shikki exploded after taking a sip of a mysterious special drink, so today is Shikki Memorial Day! And tomorrow, Master will do a dance with his eyes rolled all the way back.
Under the cherry blossoms, the 107459th "Read the Room" competition will be held! A competition to see who can be the most oblivious while switching Boss's glasses out for contact lenses! Shikki, currently favored to win, is already dominating Boss' field of vision with his Bare-Eyed Dance; he's a force to be reckoned with! Now, that's what I call some vibrant warabimochi; it'll make your frontal lobe tingle!

"I was trying to help Itsuki-nii with the cooking, but when I opened the bag of flour I opened it way too forcefully! It all came out like BWOOSH like a cloud of smoke, and it turned my face and hair totally white! Kei-chan said, "it's like it's snowing out of season" when he saw it and he laughed! Cleaning it up was really hard but it was all super fun!
I read in a picture book that I got out of the library that graduation isn't jut about saying "bye-bye"! It's also about promising that even when you're apart, your hearts will stay connected. So, I hope that me and Kei-chan and Itsuki-nii can keep laughing together forever!
