Recently, I bought a new coffee grinder. The satisfying weighty feeling of turning the handle and the distinct aroma of freshly-ground beans make for an essential part of my morning routine. A cup of coffee, carefully brewed and made with new equipment, really helps to clear the mind.
What comes to mind when you think about graduations or farewells?
Speaking as someone who stands at the front of the classroom, I feel both pride and a touch of melancholy as my students leave the nest. I truly hope that the things I have said and the lessons I have imparted upon them will serve as guideposts on the paths they take in the future. Graduation is not an ending, but rather the prologue to a new story.

Recent news... hmm... cotton candy with wasabi in the middle, or a merry-go-round that can only go right! Shikki exploded after drinking a mysterious, wondrous special drink, so today is Shikki Memorial Day! And tomorrow, Master will dance with his eyes rolled all the way back.
What do you want to do at a cherry blossom viewing?
The 107,549th "Read the Room" competition is being held under the cherry trees! The goal of the competition is to see who can change Boss's glasses into contact lenses while failing to read the room the most! Shikki, the current favorite to win, is already dominating the boss' field of vision with his bare-eyed dance-- he's a real contender! These warabi mochi have such vivid colors that they'll make your frontal lobe go numb!

I was trying to help Itsuki-nii with the cooking, but I opened the bag of flour way too forcefully! It spread out like FWOOM like a huge cloud of smoke, and it turned my face and hair totally white! Kei-chan laughed when he looked at me and said that it was like out-of-season snow! Cleaning up was really hard, but it was fun, too!
What comes to mind when you think about graduations or farewells?
I read in a picture book that I got out of the library that graduation isn't just about saying "bye-bye"! It's about promising that even if you're apart, your hearts will always be connected. I hope I can keep laughing with Kei-chan and Itsuki-nii forever!
